The exhibition is dedicated to the annual theme of 2018-2019 of the Estonian Folk Art and Craft Union, which pays attention to our handicrafts, local material and skillful craftsmanship. The exhibition combines traditional craft techniques with a pure form to magnificently show the skills of masters.
The large balls of several dimensions are suspended at different heights of the air space of the exhibition hall. Each ball is covered or filled with a master’s technique and material.
The Estonian native sheep are represented with the work named “Native sheep from the planet Jupiter?” as genetically studied animals aren’t still recognized as our local sheep breed of Estonia then how did they get to our Earth…?
The exhibition’s curators are Mae Kivilo and Kaarel Kuusk.
The exhibition will be held in St Catherine’s church in Tallinn from 7th of September to 7th of October 2018
